Korean Airlines (Airline Code = KE)
Korean Airlines All Nippon Airways is a major Japanese owned airline, founded in 1952. In 2003 it was ranked the 7th largest airline in the world based on passenger volume. As a member of the Star Alliance (with United Airlines) passengers can earn United miles and use United frequent flyer miles when flying on ANA. It uses primarily Boeing aircraft and has a fleet of over 180 planes. From North America ANA has departures to Tokyo from Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Washington, DC, plus a code share with United out of Chicago. In Japan ANA serves over 50 cities. In addition the ANA Group, parent of ANA Airways, owns ANA Hotels with over 30 hotels in Japan and 4 internationally. See their link under Hotels.
