Itineraries for South Korea
The following Itinerary Tour Packets highlight both South and North Korea and have been arranged for the 2008 season. We have been told by the North Koreans that American tourists will be allowed to visit only during the Arirang performances which will be held from August 1st through "mid-September." They do not have a specific end date yet so more tours may be added later. If so, we will email all those who have contacted us via our website or otherwise.
These itineraries are based on our best judgment and experience. We have created several different itineraries, each routing indicated by a specific letter following a sequence number, e.g., 1A, 1B, 2B, 3B, etc. The itineraries with a "B" are all 9-day packages going to the DPRK via Seoul and Shenyang to avoid the expensive hotels and air to Beijing in August.
All the itineraries are listed chronologically by their proposed departure date from North America.
Please click on any proposed "itinerary" to open an Adobe pdf packet/brochure with a detailed itinerary, a terms and conditions sheet, a reservation/deposit form, a sheet with other useful information, and sample and real Chinese and North Korean visa application forms. If you don't have Adobe Reader, you can download and install the free progam by clicking on its icon at the top or bottom of these listings. If you are unable to or do not wish to view these itineraries in Adobe Reader, please phone or email us and we will be happy to mail, fax or personally email you copies in other formats.
We are confident you will find our itineraries well planned and comprehensive, giving you as good an introduction to the two Koreas as you can get in only a short time there. We look forward to providing you with a truly memorable experience.
