Beomeosa Temple dates back to the late 7 th century. Legend has it that fish from Nirvana play in a golden well nearby. It was burned to the ground during the Japanese invasion of 1592 then rebuilt in 1613. The courtyards are beautifully decorated with stone lanterns, trees, and other relics. |
